The meter is true volume measuring meter. The measurement is independent of viscosity, Density, Dissolved/Undissolved solids, pressure or temperature of the flowing liquid as long as it maintains certain minimum conductivity. Various types of Liners & Electrodes are used as per application requirements. Empty pipe detection is also provided.

Principal of Operation
The Accumax Electromagnetic Flow-meter work on Farady’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction. Hence, the meter detects flow based on velocity of conductive liquid. Thus the meters are Calibrated in terms of volumetric flow rate from it.
Dimensions
Note: Responsibility for the choice of lining and electrode materials as regards abrasion and corrosion resistance lies with the purchaser; the effect of any change in process medium during the operating of the meter should be taken into account. Incorrect selection of lining and/or electrode could lead to a failure of the meter.
Installation Requirements
- Orientation: The flowmeter can be put in any direction, although for optimal results, horizontal installation is advised. U-bend is ideal for these flowmeters. Refer to the installation manual for details.
- Pipe Conditions: For precise measurements, make sure the pipe is continually filled with liquid
Upkeep and calibration
- Maintenance: Because there aren’t any moving parts, little maintenance is needed. The only maintenance typically required is cleaning the electrodes and sensor. However, it is advised to perform regular checkups on the electronic components.
- Calibration: Regular calibration guarantees the best results. To find out the recommended calibration intervals, contact the manufacturer.
